The television and then going to school and mingling with other children watching television has set us all up too fail. I watched Disney and then went to school and other children would be talking about the latest Disney movies and cartoons – they would be collecting stickers, pogs and small dollies and everyone would be trading etc. This is the whole point of influence.
Then the primary schools start to educate you about sex education. This is so immoral. A child does not need to know about sex. Teach them about puberty and how your body will go through changes as you mature and coping mechanisms, but no they do not do this. They show you videos of intimacy between a man and a woman which then corrupts a child’s thoughts as they become curious. Which is why social media has prepared them for their curiosity as well as todays times.
The mainstream entertainment is designed to influence your child hood and then as you mature, you follow the trends of all the other children and everything you witness on television. For example in high school you move onto mature channels where you will witness children acting out and making inappropriate relationships. Then you go to school and everyone is acting out because theyre under the influence and then suddenly this starts to become normality for them. You see, I was different. I always felt as if I am sitting behind my eyes, my bodies moving around and I am acting as I am observing everything. Then I would go home and in a way be grateful to Allah that I could be myself because I felt like I couldn’t fit into the society that was being prepared. It just wasn’t me.
So all these famous people from many sectors whether its sports or expertise in science or hollywood etc.. they then wear other peoples brands and their fans then want the same stuff. Or they invent their own stuff and all their fans want that. This is temptation. Its called shayateen influence. Making children chase desires (wants) over needs.
And children born in poverty then start to disrespect their parents for not being able to provide them the things other children have at their school. They then start stealing or drug dealing just to chase their desires (wants). It a broken society and so important to educate your children about this influence spectrum. Because if you do not, as they grow older, their wants turn into needs. Things that are not necessary but they cannot seem to cope without. It can be an expensive bottle of shower gel, certain brands of food and clothes, certain brands of cars and luxury items in your household or technology. This is called comfort living. It is haram. You should live a simple life where one does not have an attachment for worldly desires. People can say I was a hoarder, but I just could not be bothered to throw things out, I was lazy. It was not because I ever had an attachment to anything because if there was an emergency I would pack a bag and be gone and able to live without all those things for a long time. I even was homeless at one point, where I still kept good hygiene and ate good hot food daily and was able to make money pretty easily. I am a survivor.
